Resource priorities are determined by load order, where archives are loaded when respective plugin is loaded. These require plugin (ESM, ESP or ESL) to load them. Resource priorities are determined by order of installation (NMM and manual) or order of mod folders in mod managers (Vortex and MO2.)Īrchived files = resource files distributed packed inside BA2 files. Good for character creation files, bad for textures, meshes (etc.), because game needs to load each large file individually. Game needs to also load each of them individually. Loose files = unpacked from distribution archive as individual files. Vortex and MO2 use different method, where loose files are actually managed by mod manager and resource priorities take effect according to mod folder order in the manager. It handles them by order of installation, physically placing them under Data folder subfolders and then physically overwriting them if conflicts appear, according to order you install your files. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as im absolutely tired of constantly redoing my entire mod setup and still not getting any further. THbrows won't show up either, the same trouble. At first i thought it was 'Looks Menu Customization Compendium' but not using that mod (on a clean save and using Mod Organizer 2) the issue is still present. The files in there are the exact same resolution as the ones in the working areas and as my face texture. Loos files are one of the reasons why people have moved away from (buggy) NMM. Looks like this: There's the folders of LMCCs integrated overlays, right next to the working captive tats (that's the slavetats folder). Archive requires plugin to get loaded by the game. Plugins are needed for resource files, if they are distributed inside BA2. They are using loose files, which will win all conflicts against files in BA2 archives. Most of such mods do not use plugins at all.
